Let’s shop ’til you drop! Our desi weddings come with tons of details including accessories and gifts galore!
Shopping in India is definitely going to give you a lot of bang for your buck, so if you can make a trip out there – plan for it! If you can’t, thank God everything you need or want can be found online 🙂
Let’s first talk about all your outfits, accessories for you and for your bridesmaids:
- Write a list of events and think about the outfit you want to wear
- Think jewelry – earrings, tikka, necklaces, bangles, etc.
- Purse and Shoes
Next, for what can be a very lengthy process, gifts for the family.
A few shopping tips:
- Start with making a list of the recipients
- To keep it simple – consolidate your list so that shopping is easier
- Remember, that it can get overwhelming if you try to wing this!
ACTION ITEMS
- Create a list of family members who will receive gifts
- Look online for inspiration pieces for your jewelry and other accessories
- Plan your trip to India to be a minimum of 14 days and ideally not when it’s busy like Summer or near Christmastime
